Tehidy Park Golf Club
Tehidy Park Golf Club celebrated its centenary in 2022. One hundred years of golf at TPGC.
A great day had yesterday, with the golf dress code being themed around that great golfer Payne Stewart. With entry fees, raffle and a very generous bid from Andy Kearney for the auction of a St Austell Brewery 4 ball, the total raised by the TPEGs was an amazing £322. The Charity Putter was won by Mike Jacka with a great score of 43 points.

Alex fires a closing round of 75 at Farleigh, played in high winds and driving rain. Alex tied in 40th place gaining 10 places in the final round.

Congratulations to my assistant Alex Sexton who has made the cut into the final round at Farleigh GC
After an eventful 6 over par first round after standing on the 12th tee under par, Alex rallied on day two with a solid 1 under par 71 to make the final round.

On Sunday, 13 teams took part in a Texas Scramble to raise money for Cornwall Hospice Care, in memory of long time TPGC member Bob Porter.
The event was won by Martyn Churchill, Karen Furness, Paul Phillips and Caroline Phillips.
They are pictured below with Bob’s daughter Amanda, second left, and her family.
The day raised £452 for Cornwall Hospice Care.
A big thank you to everyone who played, to Amanda and her family, to Sandy and Maggie Mortimer, who donated raffle prizes, and to those who made a donation despite not playing.
A massive thank you to our mixed organisers Julian Ridge and Anne Fitzhenry for their continued hard work in making these events happen it is much appreciated.
