Tehidy Park has an indoor golf simulator with a SkyTrak launch monitor and the TGC2019 world course library, available from £15 an hour. Use it for practice, social play, coaching, or a gap test, in any weather and through the winter. Sessions are booked through the Pro Shop.
What the simulator does
The SkyTrak launch monitor reads ball and club data on every shot, so you see carry, spin, and dispersion rather than guessing at them. The TGC2019 software puts a library of world courses on the screen, so a fourball can play a full round indoors when the light or the weather has gone.
Four ways to use it
- Practice. Groove a swing change with real numbers in front of you.
- Social play. Book the bay with friends and play a famous course without leaving Camborne.
- Coaching. Take a lesson with the data on screen, so the feedback is measured rather than felt.
- Gap tests. Find the true carry distance of each club, so you stop leaving approaches short.
Winter golf without the mud
Cornwall’s weather is mild but wet. When the course is closed or the evenings are dark, the simulator keeps you playing and practising, which is why members and visitors use it most between October and March. It is priced from £15 an hour.
