Wooded, sheltered,
composed

Most of Cornwall’s golf is made by the wind. Tehidy is made in spite of it. The parkland sits below the Basset estate, canopied by oak and beech, sheltered from the Atlantic in a way no links course can be. Three lakes – added in 1998 – define the middle and closing stretches. A par-3 requires a full carry over water; the par-four 8th, at 443 yards, is the hardest hole on the card. Play it sensibly and it is a quiet pleasure; play it greedily and it will take your card apart.

A typical round at Tehidy takes approximately four hours. We ask all visitors to maintain a steady pace so that everyone enjoys their round. If your group falls behind the group ahead, please allow faster groups to play through. The starter can advise on current pace expectations on the day.

We very much enjoyed our day out at this lovely parkland course. The greens were in excellent condition.
