Laid out in 1922 with the advice of Jim Barnes and refined by C.K. Cotton, the course at Tehidy rewards angle and position over raw length. Three lakes in play, nine holes with out of bounds, and a closing stretch that makes most scorecards. Three packages, from Golf & Breakfast to Breakfast, Golf & Dinner, cover every occasion from an annual society outing to a client day that needs to reflect well on you.

All prices are per person and include 18 holes. The catering tier is the only decision. Larger groups pay less – the 33–49 bracket drops £5 across every tier and every season.

How a society or corporate day runs

09:00

Arrival & breakfast

Players arrive and are greeted with tea or filter coffee and a bacon bap. Time on the practice putting green before the tee sheet opens. The Pro Shop is on hand for scorecards and competition markers.

10:00

Tee off

Eighteen holes on the parkland course. Nearest-the-pin and longest-drive markers in position (Breakfast, Golf & Lunch and Breakfast, Golf & Dinner). Format (Stableford, better-ball, or Texas scramble) agreed in advance with the organiser.

14:00

Lunch or dinner in the Cygnets

The group assembles in the Cygnets Restaurant. Ham, egg & chips on Breakfast, Golf & Lunch; a two-course meal on Breakfast, Golf & Dinner. The catering team has served the club since 1991. The bar is open throughout. Non-golfing guests are welcome for the meal.

Prize presentation

Scores collected and confirmed. Prizes handed out in the clubhouse. The presentation room is available for corporate groups with their own branding or materials. The Pro Shop can source merchandise from Callaway, Titleist, Ping, and FootJoy.

Times are illustrative. Early and late starts are available subject to the booking diary. The office will confirm timings when you make your enquiry.

Corporate golf days

A day that does the work for you

A corporate day at Tehidy is built around the handshake on the first tee, the scores updating over lunch, and the prizes handed out with your name behind them. The clubhouse has a presentation room; the Cygnets can seat a full group for the meal. Non-golfing guests are welcome for lunch or dinner and the prize presentation. First-tee signage, nearest-the-pin boards, and hole sponsor markers can all be arranged. Tell us the numbers and the occasion – we will handle the rest.

Non-golfers & the Cygnets

Not everyone has to play

Non-golfing guests are welcome to join the group for the meal and prize presentation in the Cygnets Restaurant. The restaurant is open to non-members and can accommodate groups of various sizes – please confirm capacity at the time of booking. The bar is fully licensed throughout the day. Wet-weather option

The simulator is open whatever the weather

The Tehidy Park golf simulator (SkyTrak launch monitor, TGC2019) is available for early arrivals and small groups (up to four a session; players need a club handicap and must be 16 or over). Available at £24 per hour for 2–4 players, or £15 per hour for a single player. Book via the Pro Shop on 01209 842914.

What is the minimum group size?
A minimum of 8 players is required for all society and corporate packages. There is no upper limit; groups of 50 or more are priced individually.
What deposit is required, and when is the balance due?
A deposit of £5 per person is required at the time of booking to secure your date. The full balance is due a minimum of two weeks before your arrival date.
Which days can we book a society or corporate day?
Society days are available throughout the week. Contact the office on 01209 842208 or office@tehidyparkgolfclub.co.uk to check dates and availability. Early bookings are recommended for peak summer months.
Are buggies available?
Yes. Buggies can be hired at £35 per round, £50 for a full day, or £25 after 16:00 for visitors. Availability is not guaranteed – please request buggies when making your booking.
What happens if the weather is poor?
The course is sheltered by the Basset Estate woodland, which reduces wind exposure compared with Cornwall’s coastal layouts. If the course is unplayable, the office will talk through options. The simulator takes up to four players at £24 an hour; book it via the Pro Shop on 01209 842914.
Can dietary requirements be catered for?
Yes. Please notify the office of any dietary requirements at least two weeks before your arrival, when the final balance is due. The Cygnets catering team will accommodate requirements wherever possible.
Can non-golfers join for the meal and prize presentation?
Yes. Non-playing guests are welcome to join the group for the meal and prize presentation in the Cygnets Restaurant. Please include them in your total catering numbers when making your enquiry.
Can we have branded signage or a prize table for a corporate day?
First-tee signage, nearest-the-pin boards, and hole sponsor markers can be arranged for corporate and charity days. Discuss your branding requirements with the office at the time of booking. Pro Shop prizes – vouchers and merchandise from Callaway, Titleist, Ping, FootJoy, and Motocaddy – can also be sourced via Jonathan Lamb PGA.
Is there a dress code?
Smart-casual golf attire is expected on the course and in the clubhouse. Collared shirts, tailored trousers or shorts, and golf shoes are standard. Denim, trainers, and football shirts are not permitted. The organiser is responsible for briefing their group in advance.
How are scoring and prize-giving arranged?
Scorecards are provided for all players. Nearest-the-pin and longest-drive markers are set up as standard on Breakfast, Golf & Lunch and Breakfast, Golf & Dinner. The office can advise on scoring formats – Stableford, better-ball, Texas scramble – and the clubhouse has space for a prize presentation after the meal.
Where is Tehidy Park and how easy is it to find?
Tehidy Park Golf Club is at Cot Road, Camborne, Cornwall, TR14 0HH. The club sits between Camborne and Redruth, a short drive from the A30. Ample parking is available. Full directions are on the Contact & Find Us page.
