Open competitions and Festival Week at Tehidy Park

Tehidy Park’s 2026 open competitions are open to visitors as well as members, and include team events, pairs, and separate men’s, ladies’, seniors’, and juniors’ opens. The centrepiece is the club’s Festival Week of golf each August. You can enter online or by email.

What an open competition is

An open competition is a scheduled event that golfers from other clubs can enter, not only Tehidy members. It is one of the best ways to test yourself on the course under competition conditions, and to meet players from across Cornwall, without joining as a member.

The 2026 programme

The calendar spans the season and the membership: team events for groups, pairs formats, and individual opens for men, ladies, seniors, and juniors. Each has its own date, format, and entry, published on the open competitions page.

Festival Week in August

Festival Week is the club’s flagship run of open competitions, held each August across several days. It is the busiest and most sociable week in the Tehidy calendar, and a good first visit for a golfer who has not played the course before.

How to enter

Entries are taken online or by email. Check the format and date for the event you want on the open competitions page, then enter ahead of the closing date, since fields fill up for the popular opens.
